Barking Mad Company fees and rebates

A referral is not required to access our services. However, individuals of any age seeking treatment under Medicare can access up to 10 subsidised sessions per calendar year with a referral from their GP, Psychiatrist or Paediatrician for a Mental Health Treatment Plan.

We welcome enquiries regarding our fees and support you to feel informed about the cost of your treatment. Standard appointments consist generally of 50 minutes session time and 10 minutes of notes and preparation.

After hours and weekend appointments are also available. There are no surcharges for after hours appointments. Fees are payable on the day of your appointment and subject to our cancellation policy available here. A late payment fee of $20 applies. Payments can be made by card, apple/google pay, bank transfer or cash (correct change). We do not apply surcharges for paying with cards.

NDIS, Workcover & Veteran Services

NDIS services are currently available for self-managed and plan managed participants. Session lengths and appropriate supports are discussed with participants as part of their goals and needs. NDIS participants typically experience severe or co-occurring chronic conditions and require high levels of administrative support. Rates are reflective of this increased complexity, and are below the maximum scheduled psychology rates.

Home or school visits can be arranged for participants who are unable to travel to the clinic. Availability is limited and advance booking is recommended.

Veterans with a gold or white DVA card have access to up to 12 sessions per treatment cycle with no out of pocket cost.
