Individuals of any age seeking services under Medicare can access up to 10 subsidised sessions per calendar year with a referral from either their GP, Psychiatrist or Paediatrician for a Mental Health Care Plan under Medicare’s Better Access program.

A Mental Health Care Plan referral is required to access Medicare subsidies for your sessions (to a maximum of 10 sessions per calendar year). Ask your GP, Paediatrician or Psychiatrist for a referral to us to access these subsidies.
NDIS services are currently available to self-managed and plan managed participants only.
Veterans with a gold or white DVA card have access to up to 12 sessions per treatment cycle with no out of pocket cost.
30-minute sessions are available for children from 5 to 12 years. Availability for these sessions are limited to support the welfare of our therapy dogs but can be an excellent option for children with autism or ADHD diagnoses for whom a longer session is not beneficial.
Fees are payable on the day of your appointment and subject to our cancellation policy available here. A deposit of $50 is payable to book your first appointment and deducted from your session fee.
Clients who complete an assessment process at Barking Mad Company have access to bulk billed treatment sessions with a Mental Health Care Plan in the calendar year in which they complete an assessment.
